TAYLOR FESTIVAL CHOIR CONCERT: Folk songs like “Shenandoah” and Woody Guthrie’s “Pastures of Plenty,” spirituals like “Give Me Jesus” and “St. Louis Blues,” and works by Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein will be featured in the Taylor Festival Choir concert this Saturday night. The 7:30 p.m. concert will be followed by a reception in the Centre. A nursery will be provided. Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door.

SOUPER BOWL OF CARING: The youth will be raising money for the Souper Bowl of Caring through a soup lunch after church on Sunday, February 4. The money received will benefit Into The Mouths of Babes/The Filling Station, which feeds needy children from District 5 every weekend. These are children who would not have enough food to eat if it were not for this worthy organization. Last year we raised $1757, and our goal this year is $2000!

We are also taking donations of nonperishable food items for the Salvation Army. The collection will run through February 11, and food can be left in the grocery buggy in the Centre lobby. Please remember to check the expiration date of the items.
